Passion for Flowers TED's Way! Beauty and Seduction

I was sharing with a client my wonder of nature and how it seems to capture me in new ways everyday. She suggested a few TED talks, which I loved!  I share these videos with you today in hopes you experience the same awe it created in me. Some truly amazing videos!!

The impressions they left with me were wide and varied.  From beauty and seduction, to life and death and living.  The connection we have with nature; the reminder that we have a responsibility to care and protect the things we fall in love with (our earth).  These videos evoke a love story about a planet that does not last forever and has a need for transformation and new beginning.

Such beauty deserve our humble admiration; to stop and look, appreciate and take the time to care, sustain and respect all that we have been called to be good stewards of.

So please watch and let these videos begin to do the work of transformation in you. May we all take a look at the small things we can do to be responsible lovers of this world!

Here's Jonathan Drori enthusiastically speaking of The Beautiful Tricks of Flowers - the highly specialized and complex interrelation of plants and insects. As beautiful as we think flowers are, Drori shows us how insects see it.

And Louie Schwartzberg shows some truly beautiful images of "the mystical moment where life regenerates itself" with excerpts from his film in: The Hidden Beauty of Pollination

  1. OMG! I was mesmerized by those extraordinary images from the second video! Thank you so much for sharing such beauty!

  2. Glad you enjoyed it Chantel. It gives me goose bumps every time I view it!
